Mounting Brackets: Ensure the mounting brackets are installed at the correct height as per the awning's length. Consult your dealer or manufacturer for specific details.
Surface Preparation: Recommended to dry and clean the surface thoroughly.
Activators and Adhesives: Use SIKA Activator or Korabond HG83 for activation, and SIKA 252 or Terostat MS937 for gluing.
Ensure a solid background for the installation of the adapters. Use bolts, nuts, and counterplates for fixation. It is recommended to also use SIKA 252 for additional adhesion.
Check for any obstacles inside the vehicle (like electric cables or gas pipes) before drilling.
The adapters must support the awning at the awning's spring arms for correct and stable mounting. Use a full-length adapter if necessary.
For a watertight installation, use acid-free silicone or SIKA 252 to fill up the drilled holes.
To avoid damaging the fabric when drilling the box, unroll the awning completely and adjust the support arms so that the fabric is horizontal.
Opening and Closing the Awning:
Ensure the awning is opened and closed within the maximum extension limit of 1m.
Follow the sequential steps marked on the awning for opening and closing to ensure proper tension and alignment.
Fabric Issues: If the awning fabric is not retracting smoothly, ensure that it is not wet or overly dirty. Clean and dry the fabric if necessary.
Mechanical Issues: Check for any visible obstructions or misalignments in the awning arms or rolling mechanism.
Duration: 2 years from the date of invoice to the original buyer.
Coverage: Replacement of parts due to defects and inability of the awning to perform its intended function.
Exclusions: Misuse, negligence, accidents, improper installation or handling, unauthorized repairs, alterations, or removal of serial number/date.
Claims Process: Return defective parts prepaid. If covered under warranty, parts will be repaired and returned. If not covered or warranty expired, a nominal charge will be made. Transport costs are borne by the owner.
Packaging for Returns: Returned goods should be in solid wrapping.
Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel.
An awning is a sun protection, not an all-weather protection. It should be closed in case of storm, snow, or heavy rainfall to avoid the formation of water pockets.
Note: For more detailed information or specific queries, consult the dealer or manufacturer of the vehicle. Always ensure that the installation and operation are performed according to the manufacturer's guidelines to maintain the warranty and ensure safety.
