Description
Privacy screens are a great addition to any caravan awning. Quick and easy to setup they provide additional protection from the weather without imposing an enclosed feeling like a solid annexe. The screens will increase the comfort level in all conditions - they reduce windy gusts in bad weather, provide shade with air flow on hot days and even restrict rain access.As the name suggests the privacy screens are ideal for use in more crowded locations. Reclaiming your outdoor space can double your living area and enable a more relaxed feel. The shade screens provide a personal barrier without completely blocking off the great outdoors.
The Supex Black Screens are fitted with D-Rings and come as a complete kit with ropes and pegs. Backed by a huge 4 year warranty these screens will keep you comfortable and looking great.
Selecting the Correct Size
There are two styles of end wall screens available - one to suit full height caravans and one the suit pop-tops. The caravan end screen has an angled/sloping top side to match the slope of the awning arms when attached to a full height caravan. The Pop-top version has a flat top due to the lower mounting position of awning arms on a pop-top.
Due the colour variations between brands if purchasing side and end screens we recommend choosing matching screens.
Setup
The end wall screen is attached to the upper awning arm using the 5 velcro straps. Once in position you peg down the bottom side using guy ropes or elastic shock cords. You can adjust the pitch/angle of the screen when pegging to suit your location. Pegging straight down provides a more private sheltered feeling much like an annex. Pegging out at a greater angle gives a more spacious airy feel in nice weather.
