Installation and Safety Notes

• Ensure the PV system's open circuit voltage is below 25V and rated peak power does not exceed 250W.
• Install the unit away from flammable substances.
• Use wires suitable for at least 15A. For wire runs over 3m, use larger wires to reduce voltage drop.
• A battery fuse is required close to the positive battery terminal. A 15A fuse is typically recommended.
• Check battery and PV panel polarity before connecting. Avoid shorting PV or Load with the battery connected.
• Select the correct battery chemistry setting and ensure voltage levels are appropriate.
• Use Lithium batteries with a suitable BMS only.
• Charge vented batteries in well-ventilated areas away from naked flames.
• Wear eye protection when working near charging batteries.

LED Indicators Guide (SR1212-2 Only)

• Solid ON: Battery charging with voltage over 13V.
• Flashing: Nighttime - Battery OK; Daytime - Battery low or panel disconnected.
• Blinking: Battery level very low.

Low Voltage Disconnect (LVD) - SR1212-2 Only

Disconnects the load when battery voltage drops below 11V for over 2 seconds, reconnecting automatically with a new charge cycle.
