Installation Instructions

Requirements:

Adhere to ADR58 / EN 1645-1 requirements for correct installation.

Slide-Out Step Installation:

1. Preparation: Extend the step before installation.
   • Use a 12V DC connection to extend the step. Connect Blue wire to motor positive, Red wire to negative.
   • Remove power once fully extended to prevent damage.
2. Mounting: Drill four 9mm holes in the base/chassis location.
   • The step protrudes 60mm when retracted.
   • Secure the step using provided mounting kit.
3. Testing: Connect 12V DC to retract.
   • Connect Blue to motor negative, Red to positive.

Step Switch Installation:

1. Switch Placement: Recommended near entrance or cabin door.
2. Installation:
   • Drill a 48mm hole for switch mounting.
   • Use screws to attach cover plate.
   • Run cables from battery to switch.
   • Ensure correct wiring and secure with a 16 Amp fuse.
3. Final Connections:
   • Attach motor wires to the switch.
   • Test operation ensuring wire connections follow the wiring diagram.

Operating Instructions

12V Slide-Out Step:

• Use the in/out switch to operate.
• Ensure step is fully extended or retracted before use.
• Never use the step while the vehicle is in motion.

Manual Slide-Out Step:

• To extend: Firmly grasp the front, lift slightly, and pull out.
• To retract: Lift slightly and push in until closed.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting
