RV Media LCD TV Bracket Installation and Operation Guide
For Customer Service and Technical Staff
Installation Overview
Mounting to the Wall:
Preparation:
- Ensure the wall or mounting surface can support the combined weight of the mount and TV (up to 15 kg or 33 lbs). Reinforce the structure if necessary.
- Use a level (integrated bubble level on the wall plate) to position the wall plate against the wall. Mark two locations for drilling.
- Drill a 3 mm (1/8”) pilot hole at each marked location.
Securing the Wall Plate:
- Place the wall plate back against the wall and secure it with the provided screws (A), ensuring it remains level.
Attaching the Mount to the TV:
Selecting Screws:
- For flat-back TVs, use M4 x 12 screws (B).
- For curved or recessed-back TVs, use M4 x 20 screws (C) and possibly spacers (D).
Mount Attachment:
- Attach the mount to the TV using the identified screws. Use spacers (D) if necessary for curved or recessed backs.
Combining TV and Arm:
- Slide the mount with the TV onto the TV bracket arm. Secure with set screws (E) on either side to prevent sliding.
Final Assembly:
- Slide the bracket with the TV into the wall plate until it clicks. Ensure it's securely in place before releasing.
- Push the plastic tab at the top of the wall plate to slide the mount upwards and out.
Operation and Adjustment
- Adjust tilt angle or rotate the screen by carefully moving the TV into position. Use the S4 Allen key (F) to adjust tightness.
- Move the TV to the desired position. Adjust swivel joints with the S4 Allen key (F) if too tight or loose.
- Clean with a dry cloth. Regularly inspect and retighten screws and hardware.
Locking Mechanism
- Remove the TV from the wall bracket during transit to avoid vibrations.
- Push the arm(s) to one side, align the white guides, and slide the locking pin through to secure.
Cable Management
Route cables through the hook at the bottom of the wall plate and along the TV bracket arm, securing them with plastic clips.
