Review of Coast Awning Wall Kit to suit 14ft Rollout Awning

Was it easy to install? The initial setup was confusing and full of uncertainties. I think that future setup will be easier now that it has been done once. The bottom strap/buckle on the RHS has the strap stitched through the wrong part of the buckle and does not work correctly. The infill panel for the pop top portion appears to be too long and appears to need to be puckered up to close off the collapsible area of the caravan. This also leaves gaps above and below the 200mm high velcro section. Am I happy with the product? The quality and finish are very good. I`m not really impressed with the way that the end walls clip onto the roll out awning fabric. It relies on 3 very narrow clamps that put a great deal of pressure on 3 very small areas of awning material. The addition of narrow vinyl strips to protect the awning material is a bit poor. Also this system does not allow for a good weatherproof seal between the roof and the end walls, as the roof is only pulled down at 3 points 10mm wide each. What type of caravan did we use this on? Coromal Seka 525 Pioneer off roader. Additional information. A little more detail in the installation brochure, or even a CD with a visual demonstration of the initial setup. The pictures in the supplied paperwork are grainy black and white, hard to see and make very little sense.........................................Editor: There is a coloured fitting instruction manual that can be downloaded or view from the website.
