1. Safety and Installation Instructions

• General Safety: Follow vehicle manufacturer and service workshop safety instructions. The manufacturer is not liable for damages due to faulty assembly/connection, mechanical damage, incorrect voltage connection, unauthorized product alterations, or misuse.

• Precautionary Measures: Disconnect the vehicle's negative terminal and any additional battery's negative terminal before starting work to prevent short circuits. Ensure supply cable connections are adequate to avoid short circuits, which could lead to cable fires, airbag deployment, damage to electronic control equipment, and electrical malfunctions.

• Cable Work: Use insulated cable terminals, plugs, and flat sockets for work on cables. Use a crimping tool for connections. Ensure a good earth connection when connecting the earth cable.

• Monitor Installation: Secure the monitor to prevent it from becoming loose and causing injury. Do not install the monitor in the airbag deployment path. Ensure the monitor does not impair vision while driving.

4. Intended Use

The LCD monitors are designed for use in vehicles, compatible with cameras (e.g., reversing video systems) or other video sources. They are intended for leisure use in all vehicle types.

5. Technical Description

• Functionality: Can connect to cameras or other video sources, switch between video sources, and automatically activate cameras. Supports up to three cameras and can be used with a RAM mount.

• Control Elements: Include sensor window for dimmer function, power switch, brightness/parameter adjustment buttons, menu and camera switch buttons, monitor bracket, and loudspeaker.

6. Installation

• Tools Required: Measuring ruler, centre punch, hammer, drill head set, drill, screwdriver, diode test lamp or voltmeter, insulating tape, heat shrinking sleeve, hot air blower, crimping tool, soldering iron (optional), solder (optional), cable bushing sleeves (optional).

• Monitor Installation: Choose a safe installation location, ensure the monitor does not impair vision or pose a risk in case of an accident. Use the provided bracket and fastening material for installation.

• Electrical Connection: Follow the circuit diagram for proper connection. Ensure correct polarity and secure connections to prevent malfunctions or damage.

7. Using the Monitor

• Operation: Use the power button to switch the monitor on/off. Adjust settings (brightness, contrast, color, volume, auto dim, language, camera settings) using the menu button and +/- buttons. Switch video sources with the "CAM" button.

• Trailer Camera Detection: Automatically detects and switches to the trailer camera when connected and activated via reverse gear.

8. Maintenance

Clean the monitor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use sharp objects or submerge the monitor in water.

9. Warranty and Disposal

• Warranty: Follow statutory warranty period guidelines. For claims, include defective components, a copy of the receipt, and a description of the fault.

• Disposal: Dispose of the product and packaging materials responsibly, following local recycling guidelines.
