These single steps have an Aluminium tread and the frame is all galvanised steel construction. It is equipped with an external micro-switch which, once connected to a LED on the dashboard of a vehicle or to a buzzer, lets you know whether the step is open.

Doesn't just slide into the track, have to push it in. The way the rubber sits leaves so a many gaps around the edging. Would not recommend
