Installation Guide:
- Planning: Choose the antenna location on the roof of your Caravan/Boat, considering locker positions and cable runs.
- Marking and Drilling: Use the Base as a template to mark the 6 mounting holes and the central cable hole. Drill accordingly.
- Sealing: Apply high-quality sealant to the underside of the plastic base for waterproofing.
- Mounting: Position the Base, pass the Antenna cable through the cable hole, and secure the Base with screws. Seal screw holes with sealant.
- Antenna Assembly: Fit the Antenna Top to the Base and secure with screws.
- Power Supply Connection: Connect the 3m cable from the antenna to the power supply input "12/24V DC". Connect the 1m cable from the power supply output to DTV receivers or TVs. Connect the DC input wires to the 12V/24V DC jack on the power supply unit, then to the vehicle's 12/24V DC system.
- Gain Adjustment: Adjust the gain on the power supply unit for optimal signal reception.
- Final Steps: Connect the Antenna cable to the Amplifier and the supply cable from the Amplifier to the fused power supply input "12/24V". Connect the 1.5m coaxial cable from the Amplifier output to the TV.
Before Use:
Ensure all connections are secure and the installation is complete.
Perform a channel scan on the TV to receive maximum programs. Adjust the antenna or perform another scan if the TV loses a channel.
Troubleshooting:
- Poor Signal Reception: Check all connections for security and correct placement. Adjust the gain on the power supply unit. Ensure there are no obstructions blocking the antenna's line of sight.
- No Signal: Verify the power supply is correctly connected and the TV is set to the correct input. Ensure the antenna is correctly mounted and the cable connections are secure.
