Installation Instructions

Operating Modes

Basic Setup (1, 2, 3 Setup)

1. Negative: Connect to the vehicle's ground.
2. Output V+: Connect Pin 2 to the device you wish to control. Ensure Pin 2 (Input V+) is connected to a source directly linked to the charging system.
3. Input V+: Incorporate a 10A fuse in the connection.

VSR Mode

Use this mode if the alternator cannot be sensed directly (e.g., through a voltage converter). Connect Pin 5 to Negative. The switch will activate above 13V and disconnect at 12.5V.

AS + Remote On/Off

For alternator sensing with an additional On/Off switch or override, connect Pin 5 to Positive. The unit will only activate the output when Pin 4 is connected to Positive and the alternator is charging. Leave Pin 4 floating to keep the output off.

Troubleshooting

• Interference Issues: Some products, especially non-ACMA compliant products and certain DC motors, may interfere with the operation of the EasyAS. In such cases, consider using the VSR Mode.
