Hayman Reese Compact IQ proportional brake controller unit is suitable for heavy-duty towing as well as towing light loads across all terrains. The dial and LED indicator can fit and be mounted in a spare switch panel rather than through the main dashboard or centre console. The brake controller is stored out of sight behind the vehicle's dashboard — with only the control dials showing on the dash.
Please note the instructions are a little ambiguous.
On the sticker there will be a directional label with a two-pointed arrow.
To ensure the sticker has been applied correctly, the arrow will point towards the wires coming from the box, and also to the other side.
The arrow sticker will need to be mounted in such a way that the arrows are pointing to the front and rear of your vehicle.
Whilst the unit cannot be tilted side to side (passenger to driver's), it can be mounted at any position in a 360-degree radius providing the arrows are still front to back of your vehicle.
For example, you are able to have the wires pointing towards the driver's seat whilst the front of the box is 45 degrees in the air. As long as the box is still flat side to side, this is fine.

Nothing wrong with the product, but the postage was an issue. I ordered express postage as i needed the item by the weekend, and was told by sending it by express post it would arrive on the Friday. Having paid for this, i then received notification it wouldnt arrive until Tuesday the week after, so really the express option was useless. The item was expensive anyway and very small, so why was postage so dear?
