Product Overview

The FullStop® Saracen Ultra hitch lock, model FHL555, is a high-security device designed to fit AL-KO AKS2004 & AKS3004 stabiliser couplings on caravans. It can be installed whether the caravan is hitched or unhitched, providing flexibility and ease of use for the owner. Assembly & Installation Instructions

General Preparation

• Ensure the caravan is either hitched or unhitched as per the fitting instructions below.
• Identify all parts using the parts identification list above.

Installation Steps

When Hitched

1. Slide the Receiver Back Plate onto the AL-KO stabiliser coupling, aligning it with the recess in the casting.
2. Attach the Receiver Cover Plate to the Receiver Back Plate and secure with the three Receiver Plate Securing Screws using a crosshead screwdriver.
3. Insert the Hex Grub Screw into the Main Body slightly.
4. Place the Lock Portion into the Main Body, aligning the groove with the Hex Grub Screw, and tighten.
5. Use a key to release the ball-bearing mechanism by turning it 90° clockwise.
6. Position the Main Body over the coupling handle at a 45° angle, then pivot it over the Receiver assembly.
7. Push the lock into the tube on the Main Body to locate it into the receiver tube.
8. Lock by turning the key 90° counter-clockwise. Adjust if necessary.

When Unhitched

• Follow the same steps as when hitched, but insert the Security Tow Ball into the coupling to prevent use.

Maintenance

Spray the outside of the lock body with a light oil (e.g., WD-40) every sixteen weeks to maintain optimal function and protection.

Key and Product Registration

Store keys in a safe place and register the product at the manufacturer's website for ease of access to support and key replacement services. The key number is essential for purchasing replacement keys.
