Installation and Technical Guide for Water Inlet System
Overview
This document serves as a comprehensive guide for customer service and technical staff to assist with inquiries, installations, and troubleshooting of the water inlet system. This system is designed for efficient water entry and includes a venting mechanism. Made in Italy, it adheres to high-quality standards.
Installation Procedure
Choosing the Installation Point and Preparing the Hole:
- Determine the installation point for the water inlet system.
- Drill a hole in the wall with a diameter of 80-82 mm at the chosen point.
Inserting the Union and Sealing:
- Insert the union (1) into the hole, ensuring it comes with a pre-fitted gasket (3).
- Seal the space between the wall and the union's circumference thoroughly with silicone.
- Secure the union in place using 3 stainless steel screws (4), ensuring the vent (diameter 10 mm) is positioned on the upper part of the union.
Connecting Pipes:
- Connect two pipes: one for water (diameter 40 mm) and one for the vent (diameter 10 mm).
- Fasten both pipes securely with clips to prevent any leaks or disconnections.
Attaching Pipes to the Tank:
Components Included
- Union - The main connector piece for the water inlet.
- Cap with Key - Allows for secure closure and access to the water inlet.
- Gasket - Ensures a watertight seal between the union and the installation surface.
- Self-threading Screw (3.9x25) - Used for securing the union to the installation surface.
Important Notes
- Attention to Detail: Ensure that the vent is always positioned on the upper part during installation to facilitate proper air escape.
- Sealing: Proper sealing around the union with silicone is crucial to prevent water leakage and ensure long-term durability.
- Pipe Dimensions: Adhering to the specified dimensions for water and vent pipes is essential for optimal performance.
Troubleshooting
- Leaks around the Union: Check if the silicone seal has been properly applied and if the screws are tightened sufficiently. Reapply silicone or tighten screws as necessary.
- Ventilation Issues: Ensure the vent pipe has the correct internal diameter (minimum 7 mm) and is not obstructed.
This guide is intended to provide all necessary technical and instructional information for the efficient installation, operation, and troubleshooting of the water inlet system. For further assistance, refer to the manufacturer's specifications and guidelines.
