Product Overview

FIAMMA offers two variants of the Rooflight:

• Vent White (04328B01-): Weight 2.8 kg
• Vent Crystal (04328B01D): Weight 2.8 kg

Both models share the same specifications and installation procedures, differing only in their aesthetic design.

Installation Instructions

Pre-Installation Checks

• Ensure no damage or deformation occurred during transport.
• Verify roof thickness compatibility: 3 cm (min) to 5 cm (max). For thicknesses greater than 5 cm up to 8.5 cm, use the optional Extension Vent kit (Item No. 98683-116).
• Choose an installation location ensuring no interference with adjacent accessories and that both the internal and external roof surfaces are flat.

Installation Steps

1. Cut a square hole of 39 cm on the chosen spot.
2. Apply waterproof sealant (recommended: SIKALASTOMER-710 / THEROSTAT II) on the lower part of the external frame. Clean the roof area thoroughly.
3. Insert the rooflight from the outside, aligning the hinges in the direction of travel. Press lightly to distribute the sealant evenly.
4. Secure with 20 screws Ø4.2x30mm UNI EN ISO 7049 (not supplied).
5. Apply silicone around the external frame perimeter, filling any gaps between the roof and the frame, and cover all screw heads.
6. Insert the internal frame and secure with 4xØ3.5x15mm self-tapping screws UNI EN ISO 7049 (not supplied).
7. Remove the protective plastic from the cover.

Safety Instructions

• Do not walk on the product cover.
• Ensure the rooflight is properly closed before driving.
• Periodically check the tightness of all screws and the integrity of the cover.
• Lubricate the lid opening device with grease if necessary.
• Do not open the rooflight while driving or in adverse weather conditions.
• The maximum permitted vehicle speed with a mounted rooflight is 130 Km/h.

Care and Maintenance

• Use only neutral, non-aggressive detergents for cleaning.
• For the Crystal cover, use an acrylic glass cleaner with a soft cloth to avoid scratches.
• Never use aggressive cleaning products, alcohol-containing detergents, solvents, or corrosive liquids.
• The mosquito net can be cleaned with water and neutral detergent after removing the frame and fixing screws.
