Clipsal 415VF and 435VFS15 Series Inlet and Outlets Installation and Wiring Guide

This guide is designed for customer service and technical staff to assist with the installation, wiring, and troubleshooting of Clipsal 415VF and 435VFS15 series inlet and outlets.

Installation Instructions

Required Components

Steps for Installation

  1. Preparing the Wall:

Mark and cut out a hole in the wall using the foam gasket as a template. Ensure the hole is at least 1mm larger than the marking to avoid damage to the cable sheath.

  2. Mounting the Flange and Gasket:

Fix the foam gasket over the hole. A mounting flange (415VF or 435VFS15) may be required for installation on narrow walls. Refer to the notes on gasket locations for detailed placement.

  3. Shroud and Mounting Flange Installation:

If necessary, place a 435VFSM or 435VFDM mounting flange on the gasket.

  4. Cable and Socket Connection:

Connect cables to the socket and screw-fix the socket to the product housing. Attach the cable shroud and screw-fix the product to the wall. Note that silicon may be required on some surfaces to achieve an IP34 rating when the plug/socket is inserted.
