Operation Instructions

Standard Switch Operation

To extend or retract the awning, press and hold the Patio Switch until the awning reaches the desired position, then release the switch.

Positioning the Awning

Ensure the canopy lays smoothly over the roller tube and the valance hangs straight down when extended.
Avoid overextending the awning to prevent damage and ensure proper fabric tension.

Adjusting the Pitch

The awning arms offer 6 pitch adjustment settings, allowing for easy customization of shade and rain runoff.
Adjustments can be made with the awning open or closed, ensuring the locking pins engage in the desired holes.

Maintenance and Care

Fabric Care

Regularly hose off the fabric with clear water to prevent dirt buildup.

Allow the fabric to air-dry completely before retracting.

Mildew, Pooling, and Leaking

The vinyl-coated polyester fabric is mildew resistant. In high humidity areas, more frequent cleanings may be necessary.
To prevent fabric distortion from pooling, retract the awning in steps to dump accumulated water.
Stitching on vinyl canopies may allow water to seep through. Treat seams with a quality seam sealer if necessary.

Arm Care

Keep the arms and braces clean to ensure smooth operation. Wash out channels with water and, if needed, apply a dry silicone lubricant to joints and pivot points after cleaning.

Emergency Operation

In case of power loss, the awning can be retracted using a 10V-14V power source. Do not use a 110V source as it will cause damage.
