Installation Procedure

1. Preparation:

   • Drill a hole at the marked location as shown in the diagram.
   • Fit the screw in the Trim Frame, ensuring it is secure but not overtightened.
   • Reattach the Lock Striker. This step should be repeated three times for the Top, Centre, and Bottom Lock Striker for optimal security.

3. Sealant Application:

   • Apply a suitable sealant around the Trim Frame for weatherproofing. Recommended sealants include a combination of foam tape, silicone, butyl mastic, or polyurethane for best results.

Operating Instructions

The door lock operates with a standard turning mechanism. Ensure smooth operation by regularly checking for debris and applying lubricant if necessary.

Troubleshooting

1. Lock Mechanism Stiffness:

   • Apply lubricant to the moving parts.
   • Check for and remove any debris obstructing the lock mechanism.

2. Misalignment of Lock Striker:

   • Loosen the Trim Frame screws and adjust the position of the Lock Striker.
   • Tighten the screws and test the lock operation.

3. Sealant Issues:

   • If leaks occur, reapply the sealant, ensuring all gaps are covered.
   • For sealant removal, use a suitable solvent and reapply as necessary.

Technical Tips

• When drilling holes for the Lock Striker, use a drill bit that matches the screw size for a snug fit.
• For heavy-duty applications, consider reinforcing the door frame to support the weight and operation of the lock system.
