General Safety Instructions
- Important: Always read the user manual before installation or use.
- Installation must be done by a qualified person following AS/NZS 3001 Electrical Installations standards.
- Incorrect installation or improper use can lead to damages or injuries, for which Camec assumes no liability.
Safety Warnings
- Avoid heating, piercing, or disassembling the battery.
- Do not use damaged, deformed, or different types/models/brands of batteries together.
- Prevent short circuits by not using metal conductors on battery terminals.
- Ensure correct connection of positive and negative terminals.
- Stop using the battery if it overheats, emits odors, shows discoloration, deformation, or any abnormalities.
- Use only suitable chargers for LiFePo4 batteries.
- Do not exceed the battery's temperature limits.
- Disconnect the battery if not in use for extended periods.
- Keep away from metal objects and ensure it's not used by individuals without proper supervision or understanding of its operation.
Installation Instructions
- Place the battery on a firm, flat surface, using a battery baffle if necessary.
- Maintain a minimum gap clearance of 15mm around the battery.
- Use a torque wrench for installing the pole screw with the recommended tightening torque.
Before Installation
- Ensure the battery surface is clean, dry, and free from physical defects.
- Verify the battery model is correct for the application.
Parallel or Series Connection
- Ensure each battery's voltage is within 200mV (0.2V) of each other after a full charge.
- Charge batteries individually when connected in series to avoid imbalances.
- A maximum of 4 units can be connected in series or parallel. Batteries should be from the same batch for consistency. Contact Camec National Customer Support Team for assistance before installation.
Battery Storage
Cycle the batteries every 3 months during long-term storage, keeping them at 50%-100% state of charge (SOC) to prevent failure.
