Corner 1 Left: The winch is normally located in the front corner on the doorside. The winch height is around 270mm and width at the base, allow 170mm. The thick main cable comes from the winch and joins the four smaller corner cables at the harness plate. The two front floor tracks hold the pushrods and an end of each cable. |

Corner 2 Left: Top view of the of the second corner, showing 2 corner cables going to the rear of the camper after going around the corner pulley mounted on a wooden wedge. The pushrod can be seen, curving up thru the corner bend (These are now enclosed, tubular bends) into the base of the telescopic arm which is inside the wall. Below: View of the same corner but on a different camper, showing the cables going over the wheel arch. An alternate method is to have 2 or even 4 pulleys taking the cable over the wheel arch. Or the cables can be routed around the floor to bypass the wheel arch. |
