A full featured, great-looking and easy to operate rollout awning -- at a very affordable price! The Sunchaser awning has all the famous A&E quality RVers have trusted for years. It can be partially or fully extended to its 8-foot (2.4m) width. Fabric is automatically tensioned and is fully hemmed for durability and neat appearance. One person can easily open and close the Sunchaser. It's cam lock system gives total operator control and prevents roll-back for sure and easy operation. Rugged rafters and support arms are nested to provide increased strength and help keep canopy taut. Automatic fabric tensioning and ergonomically designed lock knobs make it a breeze to operate. |

It is made of 10oz reinforced vinyl, with the weathershield (the last section to roll on the roller) being strong laminated white vinly that protects the vinyl when stored. The colours shown here are available for all sizes of the 8300 awning. The colour is on the upper face only on this model and starts at the nose of the awning, on the valance and decreases in intensity as it approaches the centre of the awning.

Why are they cheaper than other models? The Vinyl is a lighter grade, so will last for a shorter period of time when exposed to the elements. Replacements are available - but a 4 week annual holiday should give at least 10 to 15 years of service. The Arms are a more simple construction, they function in exacty the same way but are a little less elegant in appearance to other models and brands we sell. There is no option for curved arms to suit campervans. The same arms suit the Pop-Top as the Caravan. With other models a long set of arms is used for the Caravan or Motorhome which gives more overlap in the sliding section, so therefore the other models are stronger in the Vertical Arms. |
